FERRO was presented at the ProCleanLakes Kick-off Meeting held online on 26 June 2024, marking the beginning of collaboration within its sister project. The meeting brought together partners and stakeholders to outline the project’s objectives and to explore opportunities for cooperation with related projects working in the field of lake restoration and water quality improvement.

Anna-Marie Klamt from SDU introduced the FERRO project, highlighting its approach to lake restoration through innovative nutrient removal, recovery and reuse strategies. The presentation provided an overview of FERRO’s objectives, methodology and expected impacts, positioning the project within the broader context of European efforts to improve freshwater ecosystems.

In addition to the presentation, Anna-Marie Klamt participated in a question-and-answer session, engaging with representatives from ProCleanLakes and other sister projects. The discussion supported the initiation of closer collaboration, encouraging knowledge exchange and identifying synergies between ongoing initiatives.
