FERRO hosts its Second Online General Assembly meeting

On 3 December 2025, the FERRO project held its second online General Assembly meeting, bringing together representatives from all partner organisations for a focused half-day of project updates, discussion, and planning.

The virtual gathering provided a valuable opportunity for the consortium to review the current state of the project and to share progress across all Work Packages. Each partner presented an overview of their recent activities, outlining achievements to date as well as ongoing and upcoming tasks. The session highlighted continued collaboration within the consortium and reaffirmed the shared commitment to advancing FERRO’s objectives in lake restoration, sediment management, and resource reuse.

Beyond progress reporting, the meeting served as a platform for partners to exchange insights and align on key priorities for the coming months. Discussions addressed both scientific and operational aspects of the project, ensuring that forthcoming activities are well coordinated and strategically oriented towards FERRO’s next milestones.

With 2026 coming in our way, the partners will be working towards a series of important technical and organisational goals. The consortium looks forward to reconvening at the next General Assembly meeting in spring 2026, continuing the strong collaborative spirit that has characterised FERRO since its launch.
