FERRO was presented at the Water Projects Europe event held on 12 March 2025 as part of AQUATECH Amsterdam in the Netherlands, one of the world’s leading international trade exhibitions for water technology and innovation. The event formed part of a wider programme promoting collaboration, innovation and knowledge exchange across Europe’s water sector.

AQUATECH Amsterdam 2025 attracted more than 25,000 water professionals and around 900 exhibiting companies from across the globe. The exhibition showcased a wide range of new products and services on the show floor and the AquaStages, providing FERRO with valuable exposure to a large and diverse professional audience and strengthening its visibility within the European water innovation community.

Tallent Dadi (UFZ), FERRO's coordinator, introduced the project to an audience of more than 100 participants during a dedicated session organised by IDEATION and WATERVERSE. The session focused on the role of digital tools, stakeholder engagement and cross-border collaboration in addressing Europe’s water-related challenges.

Overall, the presentations highlighted FERRO’s integrated approach to lake restoration through nutrient removal, recovery and reuse, and its alignment with emerging digital and collaborative solutions in water management. Engagement with participants encouraged dialogue with project developers, researchers and practitioners working across different disciplines and geographical scales.
