The FERRO project will be an active participant in the 5th session of the Mission Lakes Webinar Series, an online event that brings together the four EU projects EuroLakes, ProCleanLakes, FutureLakes and FERRO, to explore how lake restoration and cost-effective management can be achieved. 

The 5th webinar in the series will take place on the 3rd of September 2026 and will bring together researchers and practitioners for a discussion and knowledge exchange on advancing lake restoration across Europe. FERRO will actively participate by presenting the project’s associated regions, which were selected during last year's FERRO Open Call. 

Another key point of the meeting will be the presentation led by FutureLakes, titled Introduction to uPcycle Global Community of Practice (CoP) on Lake Restoration, during which project researchers will introduce their demo site for restoration and discuss the potential challenges they might face.
